Terms and Conditions

We like to be clear what you can expect from us and what we will be asking of you.

£100 deposit is required at the time of booking. Reservations are not confirmed until the agreed deposit is received. Although we will try and contact you if anyone else wishes to hire the car on that day.

Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash. A receipt will be issued. Deposits are non refundable. Balance payments must be made in full, 4 weeks prior to the date of the wedding. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks prior to the wedding then the full payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation

Cancellation of vehicle hire may be made in writing or by e-mail and must be acknowledged by Classic Occasions of Norfolk. If we are able to rehire the car then a full refund will be made, if not sadly we will expect the full outstanding balance to be paid.

Journey Details and Charges

You will be sent a letter containing the details of the journey you would require. The booking is confirmed on receipt of your signed copy of that letter. After this point any changes to timings, locations, or contact telephone numbers, should be advised in writing or by e-mail to Classic Occasions of Norfolk at least 1 week before the wedding date.

Hire Period

The hire period is calculated from the time of leaving our base in Hellesdon (NR65NW)) until the cars return. Additional hire is available at the prices stated on the web site.  Any additional hire fees are payable on the day.

Damage to Vehicles

The hirer accepts responsibility for the conduct of all passengers, and after being presented with appropriate evidence, agrees to compensate Classic Occasions of Norfolk for damage to vehicles caused by passengers

Breakdown

In the unlikely event of vehicle breakdown or accident, Classic Occasions of Norfolk will, time permitting, make every effort to secure a replacement vehicle. If a replacement vehicle is supplied, which varies from the type reserved, the cost will be adjusted downward only to the cost of the car supplied.

Replacement Vehicle

Your booking is for a classic car not a specific car, if the replacemnt vehicle is not acceptable then Classic Occasions will refund the expenses that would have been incurred had the booking proceeded. This is the limit of Classic Occasions liability.

Punctuality

Classic Occasions of Norfolk will make every possible provision for ensuring that agreed timings are adhered to. However no compensation will be made for late journeys, which are beyond the reasonable control of Classic Occasions of Norfolk or which are a result of passengers not adhering to recommended journey start times.

Clothing and other Articles

Classic Occasions of Norfolk cannot be held responsible for loss of, or damage to, clothing and other articles, either during or after the hire period.

Journey Termination

Classic Occasions of Norfolk are committed to ensuring that all passengers enjoy their special day, however the chauffeurs reserve the right to terminate any journey if they deem the conduct of any passenger to be either abusive, potentially hazardous to them or other passengers, to be at risk of causing damage to the vehicles, or to be of an illegal nature. In the event of this occurrence, no refund of hire fees will entertained.
